10/19/2022 Clinic #4 - Full day! 225 people served!

It's hot, sweaty, and exhausting, but we are finding it hard to believe that it is already our last day of clinics. The people are so nice and so appreciative! What a blessing that God chose us to come and serve here!

We were greeted by a line outside once again! Pastor was already sharing the Gospel of Jesus with the first group when we arrived to start our day.

Station #1 - Registration (includes notes on eyesight problems)
















Station #2 - Sharing the Gospel


Station #3 - Nursing and Education




- Check for cataracts, infections, other eye diseases


- Explain preventative care, good food for eye health

- Distribute eye drop bottles and explain use





Station #4 - Testing



- Test eyesight using flippers with prescription lenses


 - Test both distance vision and reading vision




Station #5 - Pulling
Use the test results and size up the person's face to:

    - Pull 3 pairs of glasses for each prescription based on testing (distance and reading)

    - Pull 2 pairs of sunglasses for the person to choose from







Station #6 - Dispensing


- Use the glasses pulled to test vision for proper eyesight correction


- Check that the glasses pulled are not too big or too small for the person's face


Station #7 - Fitting

- Check for any adjustments needed to the glass frames and adjust to fit
- Wash the glasses
- Give a case for each pair of glasses
